School Overview

Amberton University is a non-profit, private Christian school originally founded in 1971 as an extension for Abilene Christian University. Since then Amberton has become an independent institution of higher learning with a plethora of bachelor's and master's degree programs. Given that Amberton has been providing distance learning designed to embrace "non-traditional" students from day one, the transition to online education was fluid, enabling the University to continue offering its trademark specialization of courses in Business Administration, Human Relations & Business, Human Resources & Training, and Professional Development to adult learners looking for a fulfilling educational experience and potentially rewarding future.

Student Appeal

Amberton University offers a flexible schedule of online courses to suit the schedule of busy working adults. The Virtual University, Amberton's online education center, features a multitude of online resources to enhance both enrollees and instructors' virtual classroom experience. Online programs are taught by the same nationally recognized, respected professors who teach campus classes and implement the same teaching innovations.

Amberton University does not participate in federal financial aid programs.
